HF 2358
Lets community providers directly run state preschool programs
This bill lets community-based providers apply to run the statewide four-year-old preschool program directly, instead of only through school districts. Approved providers would receive state preschool funding themselves, and the state board would set rules for them.
Official title
A bill for an act authorizing community-based providers to directly participate in the statewide preschool program for four-year-old children.(Formerly HSB 604.)
