Requires school administrators to teach classes periodically

Requires many Iowa school districts to make administrators such as principals, superintendents and deans teach one or more classes every two or three years. Superintendents must ensure compliance and report yearly to the state, and the Board of Educational Examiners may suspend licenses for violations.

Official title

A bill for an act relating to administrators employed by school districts, including requiring administrators to provide instruction to students and modifying the responsibilities of the board of educational examiners.
