HSB 557
Limits English learner open enrollment transfers based on program capacity
Under this bill, a request to open enroll an English learner into another district is granted only if the receiving district has an appropriate English learner program and enough class and classroom space. The bill also sets how much the student's home district must pay the receiving district for these students.
