Stops school foundation taxes from funding urban renewal debt

Bill excludes school district foundation property taxes from urban renewal tax division, so those taxes go to schools. Districts may voluntarily approve paying some of that revenue to a city's urban renewal fund, without changing state foundation aid.

Official title

A bill for an act relating to the division of revenue of school district foundation property taxes for urban renewal projects, authorizing voluntary payments by school districts, and including applicability provisions.(Formerly SSB 3138.)
