SSB 3044
Adds reemployment case management and electronic notice rules for unemployment benefits
The bill requires Iowa's workforce agency to run a reemployment case management program for unemployment claimants not attached to work, and claimants who comply with it count as actively seeking work. It also lets most unemployment notices go through the agency's online portal or email, with a rule-based alternative for people who cannot use electronic methods. It also repeals the summer youth intern pilot program.
